For those who have little ones, don’t miss out on the opportunity to have their photo taken with Santa and to drop off their Wish List. During the parade, stores and merchants offer extended shopping hours and an assortment of sales that will help you get all your holiday shopping done. The starting location of the parade is at 87 Broadway, a four-minute walk from the Embassy apartments and a five-minute walk from the Mill Place apartments.

 

Christmas in the Park

Take a stroll through Kay Cee Gardens and experience Orangeville’s 21st Annual Christmas in the Park. This event, which runs from December 7th to January 1st, never fails to impress both the local residents and tourists. Tons of beautifully decorated trees, photo opportunities with Santa and carolling by local choirs are among the spectacular sights you’ll see if you come down to the park. Located just off Bythia Street, this pet-friendly park is a three-minute drive or 10-minute walk from both of William and McDaniel’s Orangeville apartments. If you work up an appetite after all that walking around, there are a variety of local food vendors out serving hot food and beverages for you to enjoy. Bring family and friends to the park for this free and festive celebration of lights.

 

Christmas Family Fun Festival

Ensure the whole family has some fun and entertainment by attending the Christmas Family Fun Festival on November 30th. From 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., parents can enjoy the silent auction, plant sale and musical entertainment while the little ones can participate in a magic show, pony rides and professional face painting. Located at the Orangeville Christian School on 553281 Road 16 (Veteran’s Way), the festival is an eight-minute drive from both the Embassy apartments and Mill Place apartments.
