Visit the market to purchase locally raised meats, unique arts and crafts, baked goods and local produce. On February 8th, March 8th and April 12th between 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. you can enjoy this indoor market.

 Maple Syrup Festival

Welcome in the spring season at the annual Maple Syrup Festival hosted at the Island Lake Conservation Area. Bring your friends, family and kids to experience and learn about Canada’s sweetest treats and the making of maple syrup. Before you head off to learn all about this sugary liquid, make sure you fill up on pancakes and sausages, which are served right off the grill. In addition to an educational lesson on maple syrup, visitors can also enjoy wagon rides, live music and entertainment and maple syrup to take home with them. Located on 673067 Hurontario Street, this festival at Island Lake Conservation Area is an eight-minute drive from the apartments on 8 First Avenue and a nine-minute drive from the apartments on 17 Church Street.

 February Blues and Jazz Bash

Warm up this winter with some great music at the Annual Blues and Jazz Bash on February 8th. Treat your ears to the musical styles of Larry and the Lawbreakers, the Soul Collective and the Jazz Society Ensemble. Located at 7 Buena Vista Drive, this jazz festival is a four-minute drive and 19-minute walk from both of the Orangeville apartments. Hosted at Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre, this free event features both indoor and outdoor activities, as well as a variety of performers fit for all ages. Face painting, wagon rides, rock climbing, swimming and skating are among the activities you can take part in. Gather up your family and friends and enjoy a magnificent fireworks display at 9:30 p.m. at the New Year’s event of the season. Located at 6 Northmen Way, Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre is a three-minute drive and 11-minute walk from the Embassy Apartments and a four-minute drive and 17-minute walk from the Mill Place Apartments.

Indoor Winter Farmers’ Market

Patrons can purchase local meats, freshly baked goodies, handmade arts and crafts and produce at Orangeville’s indoor winter Farmers’ Market. The indoor market runs from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on December 14th and the 21st, January 11th, February 8th, March 8th and April 12th. Pick up those last minute gifts or some snacks for your parties and feel good knowing that you’re supporting Orangeville’s local farmers and businesses. Located at 87 Broadway, the market is less than a five-minute drive and walk away from the Embassy Apartments and Mill Place Apartments.

Christmas in Harmony

On December 18th between 7:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. enjoy the vocal talents of the Orangeville Chorus and Quartets as they sing about Christmases around the world. During the popular sing-along enjoy some light refreshments and goodies. Located at 633419 Highway 10, the Horizons Event Centre is a seven-minute drive from the Orangeville apartments. This event is perfect for all ages and is only $10 at the door.
